The community began to throng the Bung Karno Gelora area when the entrance opened at 05.00 WIB on Saturday, June 20, 2020 and Sunday, June 21, 2020. The people who came not only walked, but also biked and drove motorized so that a separate queue was made. Saturday, June 20, 2020 was the first day of the adoption of the Health Regulations and Health Protocol Policy Reform in the GBK Zone. Previously, on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the GBK Main Stadium Press Conference Room, GBK Management held a Press Conference to disseminate the policy.
GBK Management has determined that the GBK Region is open at 05.00 WIB until 20.00 WIB. To enter the GBK area, people must pass a body temperature check and wash their hands or use a handsanitizer at the entrance. For pregnant women and children under the age of 12 years or children whose height is less than 145 cm while this is prohibited from entering the GBK area because these two groups are considered vulnerable to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The officers who stand guard at the entrance also educate the public to implement health protocols including wearing masks, maintaining physical distance and not clustering.
4-wheeled motorized vehicles that enter through Gates 5 and Door 10 will be directed by officers and information boards scattered in the GBK area to the parking pockets at GBK East Parking while 2-wheeled motorized vehicles park in Istora parking lot and Aquatic Stadium parking lot. Access to the Main Stadium Ring Road is only through Door A (West Plaza), while exit access is through Door D (Southeast Plaza / Kaldron), Door E (East Plaza) and Door G (Plaza Utara). In this Transitional Period PSBB Ring Road is only allowed for pedestrians without equipment (for example bicycles, skateboards, segways, scooters, and / or strollers). GBK management also implements a limit on the number of visitors to a maximum of 1.000 people / session and makes a schedule for using the Main Stadium Ring Road, as follows:
|SHIFT||HOURS IN||MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VISITORS||HOUR OUT|
|1||at 05.00||1.000 people||at 06.00|
|2||at 06.30||1.000 people||at 07.30|
|3||at 08.00||1.000 people||at 09.00|
|4||at 09.30||1.000 people||at 10.30|
|5||at 11.00||1.000 people||at 12.00|
|6||at 15.30||1.000 people||at 16.30|
|7||at 17.00||1.000 people||at 18.00|
|8||at 18.30||1.000 people||at 19.30|
Every time the session changes and before the entrance gate is reopened, GBK officers together with the Fire and Rescue Service of DKI Jakarta Province spray disinfectants all over the main Stadium Ring Road area and fence.
The enthusiasm of the people to enter the Ring Road in the Main Stadium was quite high, but they still followed the distance guideline that had been prepared. The Covid-19 GBK Task Force officers who were assisted by the Police and the TNI continued to convey the appeal for health protocols in particular to use masks, maintain physical distance and not cluster.
It is hoped that the efforts undertaken by GBK Management are also accompanied by high public awareness to follow the rules and apply health protocols that apply in GBK. This becomes an important point that to break the chain of distribution of the Covid-19 pandemic it is not enough to just strict health regulations and protocols, but must be accompanied by active participation of the community to implement them.
