The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the whole world, including in Indonesia, this requires us to be able to adapt to new habits to implement health protocols or healthy living habits wherever we are. Several health protocols that must be applied include washing hands using soap or hand sanitizer, using masks, maintaining physical distance and consuming healthy and nutritious foods. This healthy lifestyle cannot run alone, so it requires the participation of all levels of society to consistently implement it.
In line with this, the government launched a national-scale program entitled, "National Campaign, Do Not Loosen Discipline to Wear Masks", which was held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the West VIP Gelora Bung Karno. This activity was attended by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy as well as the Chairperson of the Covid 19 and National Economic Recovery Committee, Airlangga Hartarto, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Zainudin Amali, the Minister of Health represented by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, drg. Oscar Primadi, Chair of the Covid-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force, Doni Monardo, Communication Team of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro, President Director of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Winarto and several officials from several ministries referred to.
In his press statement, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health said that efforts to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 were to adopt healthy behaviors, namely always wearing masks, washing hands with soap, and maintaining distance. This healthy behavior campaign will take place during August-November 2020 and as many as 25 million masks will be distributed to several regions in Indonesia. During the campaign in the GBK area, 40 thousand masks were distributed. In this campaign, the GBK management also actively participated by facilitating the venue and also visually facilitating the "National Campaign, Do Not Be Slack, Discipline with Wearing Masks" which was displayed on the LED runners around the GBK area.
Various efforts have been made by the parties to educate and socialize to the public to carry out healthy living behaviors, one of which is wearing masks. It is hoped that this effort can lead to public awareness to use masks and implement healthy living habits to cut the chain of spreading the covid-19 virus.
