The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Zainudin Amali officially released the Indonesian Archery National Team which will compete in the World Archery Championship which will be held in Paris, France on June 18-20 2021. This release activity took place at the GBK Archery Field and was also attended by Chef de Mission (CdM) Olympiad Rosan P. Roeslani, General Chairperson of the Central KONI Marciano Norman, General Chairperson of the Indonesian Archery Association (PB. Perpani) Illiza Sa'aduddin Djamal and PB Perpani Supervisory Board Desy Ratnasari (14/06/2021) .
Previously, PB Perpani had held an Archery National Selection activity which was held on 28-29 April 2021 at the GBK Archery Field. As a result, 4 male archers and 4 female archers were captured, namely Riau Ega Agatha Salsabilla, Lisnawanto Putra Aditya, Alviyanto Blagas Prastyadi and Arif Dwi Pangestu. Diananda Choirunisa, Titik Kusumawardani, Rezza Octavia and Asiefa Nur Haenza.
Currently, the sport of archery has 2 tickets for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics which were inscribed by Diananda Choirunisa and Riau Ega Agata Salsabila through the medals of silver and bronze which were achieved at the 2018 Asian Games.
It is hoped that by sending the best Indonesian archers to make achievements at the World Archery Championships which will be held in Paris, France which will also be a qualifying event to get additional tickets to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. inscribed at the Summer Olympics in Seoul in 1988.
