GBK Management received a study visit from the National Achievement Sports Academy (AKORNAS) on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the GBK Main Stadium Press Conference Room. The group from AKORNAS led by the Supervising Lecturer, Diah Ayuningtyas was welcomed directly by the Head of Public Relations, Law and Administration, representing the Management of GBK.
Diah Ayuningtyas said that GBK was the benchmark for managing sports venues. This becomes very important because the venue management is one of the supporters of the development of achievements and the sports industry. He also said, until now only in AKORNAS that teaches managerial lectures on the management of sports facilities and infrastructure.
Furthermore, the presentation was carried out by the Head of Public Relations of GBK. Starting from the history of development to the present GBK is delivered casually so that the atmosphere looks interactive but still relaxed. He also informed that GBK was not only a sports venue but also a venue that could accommodate various community activities including social, arts and cultural activities to the application of information technology. So that the venue, which has existed since 58 years ago, still maintains the spirit of Bung Karno, the Visionary, who made the GBK area a multifunctional venue. Following the changing times, GBK also applies information technology including free wifi access for the public, cashless and manless parking transactions, online booking (through www.reservation.gbk.id), the application of renewable energy, and environmentally friendly.
Question and answer session was held to clarify the presentation that has been delivered. Starting from the Supervising Lecturer to the students in turns, they raise questions related to management, care to risk management faced when the venue is used for activities. Adding to the excitement that afternoon, GBK Public Relations held a gaming session by optimizing and testing the reliability of wifi at GBK Main Stadium. This session was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the students. Participants who achieve the highest score get attractive merchandise from GBK.
